If you are here to talk about celebrating the life of a loved one, then here is what you need to know:

Saying your final goodbyes to a loved one is an incredibly personal experience and something that needs to be tailored to you, as a group of loved ones. A celebration of life must honour and celebrate the life that has passed.

A celebration of life is a ceremony typically held after, or instead of, a traditional funeral service. It aims to celebrate the life of a loved one in a positive way, focusing on the good times and memories made. There are no religious or legal restrictions on the content or location of the ceremony which provides the opportunity to have the ceremony completely focussed around your, or the deceased person’s, values and beliefs.
There is total freedom over the content of the ceremony, and I will work with you to ensure that it is completely personalised and professionally delivered to the highest standard, to give your loved one the ceremony they deserve, creating one final special memory of them.

I recognise that this is a very difficult experience, and I will aim to do everything I possibly can to help you share happy stories and fond memories with me, to enable me to capture them within the ceremony.

As with the content, the venue can also be totally flexible, meaning the ceremony can take place in the wilderness of the woods, a family garden filled with memories, or any favourite location of your loved one.

As with all my ceremonies, I will work with you to get to know you as a family or group of loved ones, find out as much as possible about the person the ceremony is for, and to understand what you want from their ceremony. It will be completely personalised. You will get to review the ceremony script in advance, and we will work together to make any amendments.

If you have a theme in mind for the ceremony and want me to dress accordingly to blend in, or would rather I wear a certain colour, just let me know and I will happily get on board with it and be totally flexible to your requests.

A standard celebration of life ceremony will take everyone on a journey through the life of the deceased, respectfully acknowledge the mourning everyone is experiencing, and then reminisce over the happy memories. Everything that is discussed as we have worked together will be included.

I will also work with anyone you want to involve in your ceremony, so you do not need to worry. I am there not only to design and deliver your ceremony, but also to support you through the process and be there for you from beginning to end.
Prices:

Celebration of life packages start from £300.

A little insight into what the journey with me will look like:

Initial consultation – this can be by phone, video call, or face to face so that we can get to know each other, and I can listen to what you are after and advise on ceremony content. Initial contact may also be arranged by a funeral director if you have not already done so.

Ongoing support – I will work on creating a fully personalised and individual ceremony and you will be invited to comment on the final script so that any necessary amendments can be made. I will remain in close contact with you in the days leading up to the ceremony.

On the day – I will be on hand ahead of the ceremony to do all final checks and ensure everything is prepared to be absolutely perfect to honour your loved one’s memory.

Let’s chat….
