Hello, it is really great to have you here! I'm Matilda and as already mentioned, I love all things love and celebration.

I have spent most of my career working in hospitality and events and over time this allowed me to work around the world with some fabulous people, helping them have unforgettable experiences. After the pandemic, my husband and I settled in Cambridgeshire, in search of putting some roots down and building a life back in England. Life abroad was great, but we were starting to miss friends and family, and after having missed far too many key life events of our nearest and dearest, we’d had enough and wanted to be around more.

For those who know me, the decision to qualify as a celebrant was not a surprising one. I only wish I’d done it sooner! I love to celebrate, and I love to help to plan and deliver really special events for people.

 

After having attended a number of celebrant-led weddings, and delivering readings at a number of them too, the penny dropped, and I suddenly knew exactly what I wanted to do… so here we are.

I took my certification with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy, who are the industry leaders in wedding and funeral celebrant training.

​

The celebrancy world is one that really excites me, and I look forward to all the wonderful people this world allows me to meet.
