Naming ceremonies are an incredibly special way to welcome a new addition to the family. They are not only designed for new life though, they can also be an amazing way to celebrate a step child, an adoption, or a person coming out or transitioning for example. It is an opportunity to shower the special child, or person, with love and have friends and family welcome them into their new world. 

As with all celebrant-led ceremonies, there are absolutely no restrictions on the type of ceremony that you can have, or the location in which it can be held. Ceremonies can be big or small, calm or wild. The ceremony can include traditions, religion, songs, family traditions and basically whatever else you might want to incorporate, the ceremony world is your oyster!
 

The ceremony will be completely personalised. I will work with you to get to know you as a family, understand what you want from your ceremony, and create a completely personalised ceremony designed to suit you. You will get to review your ceremony script in advance, and we will work together to make any amendments. 

 

If you have a theme in mind for your ceremony and want me to dress accordingly to blend in, or would rather I wear a certain colour, just let me know and I will happily get on board with it. It is your special day and I will be totally flexible to your requests.
 

I will also work with anyone you want to involve in your ceremony, so you do not need to worry. I am there not only to design and deliver your ceremony, but also to support you through the process and be there for you from beginning to end.

Naming Ceremony packages start from £300.

A little insight into what the journey with me will look like:

​

Initial consultation – this can be by phone, video call, or face to face so that we can get to know each other, and I can listen to what you are after and advise on ceremony content.

Questionnaire – I will ask you to complete a questionnaire to help me get to know more specifics about you as a family and the person who is being celebrated to help with designing the perfect ceremony.

Ongoing support – I will work on creating a fully personalised and individual ceremony and you will be invited to comment on the final script so that any necessary amendments can be made.

Rehearsal – if required, I will happily attend a rehearsal.

On the day – I will be on hand ahead of the ceremony to do all final checks and ensure everything is prepared to be absolutely perfect and then I will deliver the ceremony and help you and your loved ones kick off the celebration.
